At first glance, you may think that my Inverted Lights painting is a Winter snow scene at night.
Instead it displays the reverse colours of a bright sunny day at Trawsgoed in Wales. The painting colours were chosen mainly to simulate a negative of a photographic print hence the title “Inverted Lights”. Faces appeared in the painting too that I did not consciously put there. See if you can see the one of a large white face (in profile) of a Nethanderal looking man? Stand or sit back and look at the picture as a whole to see if you can see his face and which takes up most of the left hand side of the painting.
